Erin Shirreff uses sculpture, digital photography, and video to explore the complex relationship between the camera and art history. Her work focuses on the ways we experience art, and the differences between doing so in person and through reproduced images, which often form the basis of art historical study. This catalogue has been produced on the occasion of Shirreff's self-titled exhibition at ICA/Boston, curated by Jenelle Porter.
