Giant: Manifestations

Mike “Giant” LeSage has achieved fame as a graffiti artist, illustrator and tattooist. Black ink is GIANT’s specialty. Whether his medium is concrete, paper or skin, his signature style is unmistakable; incorporating diverse elements ranging from Mexican folk art and Heavy Metal iconography to Japanese tattoos and Buddhist theology. Recurring motifs including pretty girls, bicycles, skulls and tattoo “flash” are all rendered in GIANT’s beloved Sharpie marker. Mike’s seminal work for his self-published Skullz press zines is not be missed, and decks from his stint at THINK skateboards are also well documented.
